Put it on a screen

You will turn one of your views into a public page and open it on a tablet or TV, so a wall display shows live status hands-off. By the end you have a board anyone can see with no login, and you know how to take it back down. This uses the views and data from the tutorials before it.

Make a public surface

Pick something worth showing: the "what's low" view from the first tutorial, or a board that puts a few views side by side. Open Configuration → Public surfaces, in the Connections section, and hit Publish to pick what you are sharing and turn a surface on. Cobblr gives you a long, random URL.

Anyone with that link sees a read-only version, with no account and no way into the rest of your workspace. It reads from a separate public endpoint, so only what you opted in to share is ever visible. Full detail is in Public sharing.

Put it on the screen

Open the URL on an old tablet, a spare laptop, or a TV browser. The page renders as a TV-friendly gallery or list and refreshes on its own, so it shows current status without anyone touching it: a build board, a shop's current work, what got done this week.

Take it down

Each surface is turned on, off, or revoked on its own. Revoke the URL and it stops resolving right away, so a board is never permanent by accident and never all-or-nothing.

You now have

A live board on a screen, and a workspace you built end to end: a category, scan capture, labeled locations, an automation, a custom app, and a public display. From here, the guides go feature by feature, and the examples show complete setups.
