Cobblr for Home
Photograph a thing and it files itself into a room. Print a QR label for the bin it lives in. Later, ask where something is instead of opening every drawer.
The first ten minutes
- Open Cobblr on your phone and tap Scan.
- Photograph a thing, or scan its barcode if it has one.
- It lands in the inbox with a name, a picture, and a guess at the room.
- Tap to keep it. Do a shelf, then a cupboard.
Rooms, bins, and labels
- Rooms come with the app: Kitchen, Living room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Garage and Closet are real locations from day one, so a scanned thing has somewhere to go. Rename or add rooms any time. On a desktop the app opens on the catalog and offers Pair your phone so the camera is still one tap away.
- Print a label for a bin and stick it on. Scanning that label later tells you what is inside.
- Scan the bin, then the thing, and Cobblr knows where you put it without you typing a location. Or set the room once from the Set area chip and every capture in the session lands there.
- A barcode prints its label from the "Added" note. For a Bluetooth label printer you have paired under Your account → Label printer, Print label is right there after the scan. Nothing prints on its own. A photo capture waits in the inbox with its best match, and the record page prints the label once you file it.
Labels print from a cheap Bluetooth label printer straight out of the browser. Labels and printing covers the printers that work.
Worth knowing
- A model number and a serial number are fields on the thing, which is what makes this useful for a warranty claim or an insurance list later.
- A photo is enough. You do not need a barcode for most household things.
When you want more
Maintenance schedules, warranties, and what a thing cost are all a step away in the full workspace.
