Personal connections
A personal connection is a credential you own, like an AI provider key, that you can grant to the workspaces you choose.
- Under Your account, open the Connections card and press + Add a connection.
- Pick the service from the catalogue and enter the credential once.
- Choose which of your workspaces may use it. Take a grant back whenever you like.
Yours, not the workspace's
- Set up under your own account, separate from any workspace's shared settings.
- The credential stays yours, and you decide which workspaces are allowed to use it. The workspace sees the capability, never the credential.
- Leave a workspace and your connection doesn't go with it.
Bring your own AI, and more
- AI is the common use: connect your own key once and grant it to a workspace, so its AI features run on your account instead of a shared one.
- Parcel tracking: parcels on your orders are followed with your credentials rather than the instance operator's.
- Your own edge bridge, which follows you between workspaces rather than being re-added in each one.
Granting is per workspace, from your side.
