Hardware
The physical things Cobblr works with, and how to pick and set them up. The rule that runs through all of it: Cobblr coordinates, it doesn't drive the hardware. A scanner types codes at it, a print manager runs the label printer, a machine's own controller runs the machine. That keeps the hardware side simple and the choices open.
Three things you'll actually wire up:
- Barcode and QR scanners for capture: scan an item and it lands in your inbox.
- Label printers for QR labels on your bins and parts.
- Cameras for watching a print and catching failures.
Machines like 3D printers, lasers, and CNCs connect through their own managers, not as raw hardware here. See Digital fabrication and the Integration catalog.
