Turn reorder alerts into purchase orders
Goal: when a part drops below the level you keep on hand, have Cobblr draft a purchase order to the vendor you usually buy it from, at the quantity you usually buy, so restocking is a review-and-approve instead of a from-scratch entry.

Steps

Open a part you restock and set its reorder point, the on-hand quantity that counts as "running low". A catering supplier's kitchen might set 6 on a case of gloves.

Make sure Purchases is enabled. When it is, Cobblr already carries the default wire that connects a low part to a drafted order. You can see it on the bindings page like any other wire, and edit or turn it off there.

Optionally buy the part through Purchases once, or record a past order for it. The draft pulls the vendor, quantity and unit cost from the part's own purchase history when there is any. With no history it still drafts: you get a vendorless draft to assign when you approve it, for the part's min qty.

That's the setup. From now on, when stock crosses the reorder point, the part lands as a line on a draft (planned) order for its usual vendor. Several parts from the same vendor collect onto the same open draft rather than spawning one order each.

When you're ready, open the draft, adjust anything, and mark it ordered. When it arrives and you receive it, the shipped arrival wire tops the stock back up on its own.
Result
Stock that reorders itself up to the approval step. You still decide what actually gets bought, but you never have to notice the shortage or retype the vendor and quantity. If you'd rather a low part hit a shopping list than a draft order, that version uses the same trigger against a different action.
