Personal connections
A personal connection is a credential you own, like an AI provider key, that you can grant to the workspaces you choose.
To add one: under your account settings, pick the service from the catalogue, enter the credential once, done. Then grant it per workspace, from your side: choose which of your workspaces may use it, and take a grant back whenever you like.
Yours, not the workspace's
- You set these up under your own account, separate from any workspace's shared settings.
- The credential stays yours, and you decide which workspaces are allowed to use it. The workspace sees the capability, never the credential.
- Leave a workspace and your connection doesn't go with it.
Bring your own AI, and more
The common use is AI: connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic key once and grant it to a workspace, so its AI features run on your account instead of a shared one. Today the catalogue covers AI providers (including a local machine reached through the edge bridge), and the same mechanism is built to carry other per-user credentials as services are added.
