Sales

The Sales module is the other side of purchases: what you sell. Customers, sales orders, and their line items.

The loop: sell, fulfil, stock drops, and the low-stock view tells you what to reorder.

Orders and customers

  • A sales order belongs to a customer and lists what they're buying.
  • Line items link to the inventory parts being sold, so an order is tied to the actual stock it draws from.
  • Customers are records: each one shows its orders and history.
  • Orders can also be created programmatically through an action, which is the hook for a storefront.

Fulfil and decrement

Fulfil an order and the sold parts come out of stock. Fulfilment is the step that touches stock: the sold items decrement, so inventory reflects what actually left, and the loop closes itself.

It's built for makers and small shops selling finished goods, sitting on the same inventory that Purchases and Builds feed.
